In strict adherence to our 'Offline-First' architecture, profile data is encrypted and stored LOCALLY on your device, unless you consciously deploy the P2P Synchronization feature. This information encompasses:

A. Basic Identity

The First Name and Last Name configured within your application profile.

B. Contact Credentials

The Email Address utilized as a local system identifier.

3. Device Access & Media Collection

The Niskala application requires operational access to specific device hardware to execute its core functions optimally:

Camera & Gallery (Media Images)

We request this access EXCLUSIVELY to enable you to scan physical receipts. Images are processed locally (On-Device ML) to extract text (OCR) and are never transmitted to our external servers.

Microphone (Voice Recording)

Strictly utilized for the Niskala Smart Entry AI (Voice-to-Text) module. This access remains dormant until manually triggered to dictate transaction entries. We do not monitor background telemetry, and voice data is processed natively via your OS engine.

Local Storage

Utilized exclusively to generate printed PDF report files and securely store encrypted vault archives (.niskala) within your device's internal memory.

Wi-Fi & Network Status

Required for the P2P (Peer-to-Peer) Synchronization architecture. This protocol ensures secure, offline discovery and data transfer between your authorized devices without routing through a centralized server.

4. Third-Party Services: Analytics & Advertising

This application leverages securely encapsulated third-party infrastructure. These entities NEVER possess clearance or access to the financial data within your encrypted vault:

  • Advertising Network (Google AdMob)
    Google may utilize your mobile Advertising ID and cookies to serve dynamic, personalized advertisements.
  • System Telemetry (Firebase Analytics)
    Tracks usage metrics and crash logs completely anonymously to enhance system stability and overall application performance.

5. Global Privacy Law Compliance

The Niskala infrastructure is engineered to comply strictly with robust international data privacy regulations (including GDPR and CCPA):

  • Right to be Forgotten: You retain the absolute right to purge your entire data vault irretrievably via the integrated 'Reset My Data' command.
  • Do Not Sell: We NEVER monetize, sell, or share your personal identity or financial records with third parties for commercial gain.
  • Child Protection (COPPA): This enterprise service is exclusively designated for adult professionals and is not intended for individuals under the age of 13.
